The Lester B. Pearson School Board works with its community to provide a healthy, safe, respectful and inclusive learning environment in which there is flexibility for all students to reach their full potential. It is the second-largest English school board in Quebec, with a territory that covers 5 Montreal city boroughs, 8 West Island municipalities as well as 23 municipalities situated west of the island of Montreal between the Ottawa and Saint-Lawrence Rivers and the Ontario provincial border. The Lester B. Pearson School Board serves approximately 28,000 students with a network of 36 elementary schools, 13 secondary schools and 8 adult and vocational training centres. In addition, the Board operates alternative learning centres, Ministry of Social Affairs schools, and an International Language Centre.
