The Western Quebec School Board is dedicated to developing life-long learners who contribute to society and are prepared for the future. Third-largest English-language school board in terms of geographic size, the WQSB covers a vast and diverse territory of over 90,000 km2 that borders the province of Ontario and serves 155 municipalities within the Outaouais, Pontiac and Abitibi-Temiscamingue regions. Approximately 90% of its student population resides in the Outaouais region, which partially surrounds the National Capital Region of Ottawa-Gatineau, with the remainder in three schools located north of the 43rd parallel in the northern region of Abitibi-Témiscamingue.
